For clients and
LA friends...

January 9th, 2025

This website is dedicated to providing support, information, and hope for my clients (and fellow Los Angeles residents) affected by wildfires. As a longtime psychotherapist with specialized training in trauma and acute stress recovery—and a former researcher—I am committed to sharing recovery resources and tools. More relevantly, I am a lifelong SoCal resident who watched the businesses and homes that I love perish in these heartbreaking fires. This platform is my way of standing with our community during this painful time.

I have survived home destruction from a storm. I know the shock of being suddenly displaced and the daunting task of rebuilding while dealing with red tape and living with trauma. My aim with this website is to offer community resource links and basic trauma information for those of you navigating the aftermath of wildfires. I simply hope to empower my clients and our community to maintain resilience and recover from this deeply traumatic experience.

This website does not cover the full breadth of what you will need support with, but I will update it more completely with trauma coping and other resources as we forge ahead. I am not affiliated with any of these resource links and not posting them for endorsement or advertisement. I have vetted them as much as I am able through google searches and referrals, but I am unable to confirm their full reliability-- please use your best judgment in seeking out support. During times of crisis, people can be vulnerable. Lastly, I am not seeking new clients or promoting any services. This website is solely for information sharing and virtual support.

My heart and spirit are with you. I hope this heartbreaking time will become a triumph of post-traumatic growth in your life story.

(Usual disclaimer: Information on this website is not a replacement for seeking appropriate legal, professional, medical and psychological trauma care.)
